Sign-up for the Macy's Thanks for Sharing! Event and save on holiday shopping & help support the Club. Starting September 14, 2011, Macy’s card members can enroll in the Thanks For Sharing rewards program with a one-time $25 fee charged to their Macy’s Credit Card. Once enrolled, card members accumulate rewards equal to 10% of most of their Macy’s Card purchases through December 31, 2011. Annual Holiday Party

The Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club, in collaboration with Robert Half International and Robert & Rita DeLue, will host children's parties on December 9 and December 16 to celebrate the holiday season. Children and Youth from San Mateo and Daly City communities will be invited to enjoy holiday refreshments, participate in carnival games and win prizes. Each child will have the opportunity to visit and take a picture with Santa and received a holiday gift from the Club.

Support our Holiday Gift Drive and make a child's holiday wish come true. Drop off an unwrapped gift before December 15 to either of our two Clubhouse locations or make an online donation.

18th Annual Golf Tournament

Our annual golf tournament presents a unique opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying a round of golf. This year's tournament was held at the beautiful Crystal Springs Golf Course, which sits on a ridge overlooking 27,000 acres of protected forest with pristine vistas of the Crystal Springs Reservoir and the coastal range. The 2011 Golf Tournament was a huge success, with more than 150 golfers, volunteers, sponsors, and donors contributing to this annual outing.

The 2012 tournament is currently being finalized. We always welcome new golf participants. Various sponsorship opportunities are also available, including corporate, hole, and advertising sponsorships.

56th Anniversary Dinner Masquerade

This year's 56th Anniversary event was a huge success. It was held at our DeLue Clubhouse at the Bayshore Community Center. Hector Martinez was honored as our 2011 Youth of the Year. San Mateo Lions Club was honored as our Service Organization of the Year for their outstanding contribution to youth in our community. The evening included a gala dinner, special performances by Club members as well as both live and silent auctions offering great deals on getaway weekends, hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, sports memorabilia, and so much more!

Be a Kid for a Night at the Boys & Girls Club: Get a tour of the facility and learn about the great programs offered. Meet the kids and participate with them in a variety of fun and educational activities.

55th Anniversary Dinner Auction

The 55th Anniversary Dinner and Auction was held October 16, 2010 at the Bayshore Community Center & DeLue Boys & Girls Club. Paul Tonelli, co-host of the Lamont & Tonelli Morning Show and 49ers game day stadium announcer, served as the Master of Ceremonies. Tonelli was joined onstage for the live auction by former 49ers standouts Jesse Sapolu, Dave Fiore, and Dennis Brown. State Senator Leland Yee was honored as the Citizen of the Year and Mike Stallings, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Daly City, was given a Special Recognition Award. Also honored during the evening’s festivities was Alberto Rodriguez, the Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club 2010 Youth of the Year. A wide array of entertainment was provided by Club Members including the Club Drum Corps, Taste of Class Chorus, and an exhibition of the Brazilian martial arts, Capoeira. Many thanks to all who participated and made this our best event ever!

Golf Tournament Scores Big Hit

On Saturday July 17th, the Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls held our 17th Annual Golf Tournament at Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame. The tournament was a sellout, with proceeds going to support the after-school enrichment programs of the Club. From corporate sponsors to individual entrants, all participants had a great day on the links. Our deepest appreciation to our many sponsors and partners who make this annual event extraordinary.
